Here's the blocks
And the completed rows so far, from both sides of the door!:
The rows are coming together quickly, and I'm hoping to have it all pieced by the end of next week, as we've got a huge number of commitments this week, especially my brother in laws wedding (speaking of, I gave up on embroidering their cushions, I found a good phrase but my embroidery skills just aren't up to it!)
Here's their cushions:
I've also been making the odd little bit like this fabric basket and toy tidy:
Hopefully this will be finished by the end of October so that it can go up North at half term, and so that I can finally crack on with other things!
Linking up with Lily's Quilts Small Blog meet - hopefully I can top 50 followers this month!

That's going to be such a pretty peek-a-boo quilt. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your quilt. I'm on a baby quilt mission having promised one to at least 4 of the wee man's little friends as bday presents. So I may borrow your design ;)
ReplyDeleteI love your "design door":-) Your creations all look great - your nephew will love the pictures on his quilt!
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt - I suggest wonky wavy lines to give it a textured feel :)
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to see what direction your quilt takes; but right now I am in love with your door-handle basket! What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteDropping by today through Lily's Quilts...so many cute projects going on here! Darling quilt!!
ReplyDeleteGreat makes. I need to make a few of those little baskets to organize my scraps.
ReplyDeleteI have just called in from the 'small blog meet' .. you have been busy, and I love the idea of using a door as a design wall...very clever.
ReplyDeleteLove the cushion fabric, I have a pile of them in my stash and I'm desperate to find a project to use them on, they're lovely. What a cute quilt, great progress in 1 week on the blocks, sometimes we just need a bit of motivation, and I'm guessing you just want it to be finished now, Good Luck. Ange x
